Hi, I'm Mr. Lang. My hometown is Atlantic, IA where I graduated from
high school in 1975. After high school I graduated from Waldorf College and Iowa State University as a Business and
Physical Education major.
I am married and have four children and have lived in Ankeny since 1985.
I started my teaching career as a student teacher in Ankeny in 1981 and
then got my first job as a business and computer teacher at Hoover High School in Des Moines, IA in 1983. After Hoover,
I taught at Brody Middle School and Lincoln High School in Des Moines before coming to Northview Middle School in 2002.
Since I began my career in education, I have also been a coach in football,
basketball, and track. Currrently, I am coaching the 8th grade boys basketball team at Northview Middle School.
In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids in their activities, walking with
my dogs, riding my bike, playing golf and reading.
